Over 85 attendees for the CCQF’s inauguration in Florida!
With his huge success in Montreal on June 17th, 2009, the Quebec-Florida Chamber of Commerce (CCQF) had another successful event in Florida!

The Fort Lauderdale Yacht Club specially opened its doors on September 9th, 2009, for the inauguration of CCQF’s Florida section. This networking event not only aimed to promote this new organisation but it also helped attendants to meet and chat with entrepreneurs from diversified area of activity in order to widen their social network in a festive and relaxed atmosphere.

On this occasion, more than 85 professionals and entrepreneurs came over to assist to the very first event held by the Quebec-Florida Chamber of Commerce in the Sunshine State. Claudio Ramirez, Consul and Trade Commissioner at the Canadian Consulate in Miami, as well as Louise Fortin, Director of Trade Division at the Quebec General Delegation in Atlanta, were present for the event in order to explain their role with the business community.

During the evening, Marcel Racicot, President, Larry Behar, Vice-President, and Sophie Proulx, General Director of Florida’s section spoke about the importance of this non-profit organisation with managers seeking for business opportunities.

The CCQF wants to thank Yvonne Courage and her team of Destination Soleil, Idea and Tremblay L’Écuyer Architectes for their support as well as everyone who came over for the event!
