Quebec has very good economic relations with Florida. It is the 14th largest economic partner of Quebec throughout the American states. In 2005, the commercial exchange of goods reached a total of over 2.3 billion dollars. The exchanges increased on average more than 10% per year since 2004. That same year, a commercial mission by the state's governor Jeb Bush was held to Quebec with an agreement on increasing economic, scientific and technologic cooperation between the Florida and Quebec governments.
